A large field is the field of medical diagnostics. We wanted to develop a deep learning AI able to support the medical staff in the diagnosis of tumours in breast cells.
We have developed an AI able to distinguish with an accuracy of 97.55% benign from malignant tumours on high-resolution microscopic medical images.
With our model, the removed tumour tissue (biopsy) can be examined for benign and malignant tumour cells.
We can implement image classification AIs in many other areas, such as the detection of manufacturing defects.
